Jody is forever loved by her children: Donald (Christine) Dean, Courtney (special friend Brian) Styles, John (Jodi) Dean and Jamie (special friend Nanette) Dean grandchildren: Robert (Ashley) Dean, Brianna Dean, Logan Dean, Steven Styles, Christine Styles, Cordelia Dean and Sarahbeth Dean great grandchildren: Jezzamine Dean and Ellis Dean siblings: Beth (Fred) Sheridan, Martie (Herman) Coughlin, Timothy (Angie) Courtney, Michele (Clayton) Konoski, Mary Jo (Ron) Sibilsky, Julie (Mark) Rauschuber as well as many nieces, nephews, adopted children and extended family and friends. You knew exactly what you were getting when talking and interacting with her. One of the wonderful things about Jody is that she definitely let everyone know exactly what her opinion was, even if it was an unpopular one. Between Balancing work, children, friends, family and volunteering with Boy Scouts, General Federation Women’s Club, Chamber of Commerce, Village Counsel and many more that we are unable to keep track of, she always shared her time with immense pride and heart. Over the years Jody has given more of herself then anyone could imagine. She always went above and beyond to help anyone in need. After Jody graduated from Birch Run High School in 1964, she went on to study Nursing which she did with great enthusiasm and passion for over 40 years. She was always hard working on the farm growing up and trying to boss around her siblings.
Jody was born on November 25, 1946, to the late Thomas and Dorothy (Gibson) Courtney in Flint Michigan, raised in Birch Run, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the family discretionary fund care of Jamie Dean.
Per Jody’s request a viewing will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 12-6 pm at her residence.
